Walker Bay Nature Reserve

What to expect

Perivoli Lagoon House borders the Walker Bay coastal nature reserve which is 5km away and accessible by 4×4 vehicles. Known for its spectacular landscapes of the Western Cape, the region is also a breeding ground for Southern Right Whales, which can often be spotted frolicking offshore.

This historically significant area has records dating back to the Stone Age (around 65,000 – 85,000 years ago) and boasts 18km of unspoiled white beaches, dotted with Fynbos and limestone outcrops.
